Abstract :
[en] This lecture provides a general overview of Transnational Families in Latin America, highlighting their impact on the social and economic development of sending, destination and in-between countries. In order to do so, it takes as an example the case of Latin American families in Europe. It uses support from empirical cases covered in the literature as well as by the author's own fieldwork with Transnational Families in Belgium, Peru and, Colombia.
