Abstract :
[en] The increase in the share of renewable sources leads to new needs in terms of flexibility. This evolution of the power system requires proper simulation tools. The Dispa-SET model simulates with a high level of detail the short-term operation of large-scale power systems, solving the unit commitment and optimal dispatch problems. The model is an open-source tool and comes with an open dataset for testing purposes. It can therefore be freely re-used or modified to fit the needs of a particular case study.
