Abstract :
[en] In the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear accident, many of the post¿disaster responses undertaken by the Japanese government sparked vivid debates and criticisms from the civil society. The article examines the post-accidental management of the authorities, with a special focus on their risk communication, and explores what went wrong in the process. It deals with the issues of risk assessment, expertise, counter-expertise, policy-makings, stakeholder participation, and trust in crisis and disaster situations.
